Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)

Traumatic brain injury can happen when people got a hit to their head like a bump, jolt, or other head injury causes damage to the brain. So many accident in the street and make millions of people got suffer brain injuries every year. Some of them getting suffer bad and go to the hospital, the worst case can make lead to permanent brain damage or even death.

A half part of brain injuries is caused by a motorcycle accident. Unfortunately a symptom of brain injuries not appear dirrectly evey weeks after got accident. A serious traumatic brain injury need emergency rreatment. Traumatic brain injury can cause a wide range of changes like sensation, or emotion. Traumatic brain injury can be associated with post traumatic stress disorder, and people with severe injuries need rehabilitation.

Type of Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
There are two major type of TBI.

• Penetrating Ijuries, in this injury, a foreign object enter the brain and causes of damage to the specific part of the brain.
• Close head Injuries, this injury is result from a blow to the head as occurs, for example on car accident when head strikes to the winshield or dashboard. This kind of injuries causes two types of brain damages:
• 1. Primary brain damage: damage is complete at the time of impact.
• 2. Nerve damage (diffuse axonal injury): arise from a cutting, or shearing, force from the blow that damages nerve cells in the brains connecting brain nerve fibers.
